Cooking up a Storm + {Bye Bye Blues Juice}

As I mentioned in my last post, I have been cooking up a storm in the kitchen, all in the name of my upcoming e-cookbook.  More than anything else, this part has been really FUN!!         I love creating healthy nourishing recipes for my family, trying new ingredients, and enjoying the great recipe successes -- like my Peach Parfaits, Fudgey Brownies, Wild West BBQ Pizza, Lemon & Garlic Chicken Pasta, The Spicy Carrot Juice, White Chocolate Cranberry Pistachio Cookies, and Quinoa Meatloaf to name a few. I've only had one real fail so far during this process, which is pretty good if you ask me :)  I still have some perfecting to do to my Lemon Blueberry Pound Cake.  But, don't fear, I will make it amazing!!! And then comes the actual graphic design / layout, which I'm looking forward to as well.  But for now, here's a wonderful new juice recipe for you!

Incredibly high in antioxidants, vitamin C, and folate this juice delivers a heavy nutritional well as aiding your body in the production of mood-lifting serotonin.  Healthier AND happier?  Yes, please!! 

It features organic blueberries, jicama, pears, cucmber, and lime.  And with healthy, organic, beautiful ingredients like could it not be amazing?!?!

Bye Bye Blues Juice // @noshandnourish


3 cups Blueberries
1 Jicama
1 Cucumber
1 Lime
3 Small Pears


  1. Peel the lime.
  2. Cut all items small enough to fit in juicer chute.
  3. Juice everything.
  4. Stir.
  5. Enjoy!

Yields 40 Ounces
