No Sugar Crockpot Apple Butter
Ingredients
10 Organic Apples (cored, peeled, & sliced)
1 cup Organic Apple Cider (be sure to find one with no added sugar!)
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
1⁄2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1⁄2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1⁄4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 dash Salt
Instructions
1. Put everything in slow cooker (juice should not overpower apples) and cook on low for 10-12 hours
2. At 10 hours, once apples are dark, use an immersion stick blender to puree until smooth
3. Put lid back on slightly ajar and let cook for the remaining 2 hours
4. Let cool, and store in jars in the fridge
