Silk Almond Blends + {Sweet Sticky Coconut Quinoa}

Silk recently came out with a new Almondmilk with Protein + Fiber that I talked about in this post. It was creamy and thick and perfect for savory uses. Remember those amazing Super Greens Mac & Cheese Cups?!?! But today I'm even more excited to share another new Silk product with you: their Unsweetened Almond/Coconut Blend. It has all the same good-for-you ... Read more » about Silk Almond Blends + {Sweet Sticky Coconut Quinoa}

Roasted Veggie & Quinoa Bowl + {Coconut Peanut Sauce}

It's been a whirlwind of a week. I'm sticking to my guns on something... and while it's a present setback, I'm hoping it pays off in the end. I have to stay true to myself, right?!? And staying true to myself, also means I'm staying true to you...my loyal readers and fans. On another note, you might not have noticed, but I recently updated the look and feel of my blog. I wanted it to feel cleaner, and lighter, and airier. ... Read more » about Roasted Veggie & Quinoa Bowl + {Coconut Peanut Sauce}

Creamy (Vegan) Red Pepper Alfredo over Zoodles

I honestly have never liked zucchini. I hate how mushy it gets, and the flavor really isn't anything to write home about. The worst is... that pile of zucchini and yellow squash chunks some restaurants spoon onto your plate as a side of veggies. Seriously? That's the best you've got?! Eww. Eww. Eww. BUT, my opinion of zucchini was drastically change by a certain new kitchen tool: the spiralizer. This handy dandy contraption turns any (most) vegetable into little pasta-like noodles. Genius!! I saute them in a little bit of EVOO, and they get softened but not mushy. ... Read more » about Creamy (Vegan) Red Pepper Alfredo over Zoodles

Using Juicer Pulp + {Strawberry Pesto & Jicama Salad}

So, I've committed to juicing at least once a day for Dear Hubby and myself -- for the next three months. It's a grand experiment and a labor of love, but soooooo worth it in my opinion. The key to beneficial juicing? Veggies, veggies, and more veggies!! Still not sure you'll like it? Try my new Super Green Juice -- it's delish! With all this daily juicing, I am creating tons of juicer pulp (the fiber-rich leftover veggie/fruit mush after the juice is extracted). ... A Savory Recipe: {Asparagus Crostini}

Introducing Asparagus Crostini:

I made this during the holidays when I was experimenting with dairy alternatives like Daiya cheese.  I also tried tempeh for the first time.  I liked the smoky bacon flavor that I used in this recipe, but wasn't so impressed with the "regular" flavor in a different recipe that didn't make the blog "cut." I hope you know I only share the BEST recipes with you!!! ... Read more » about A Savory Recipe: {Asparagus Crostini}

A Healthy Snack: {Quinoa Pizza Bites}

I hope you all had a fabulous long Thanksgiving weekend -- filled with friends, family, delicious food, and even a little holiday shopping! Our food was over-the-top delicious, especially the smoked turkey. Dear Hubby said it was the best turkey he'd ever eaten -- in 30+ years! Babycakes helped me a lot with the turkey...stirring the brine in a big bucket, cleaning the turkey, removing the neck, brushing on the butter, etc... She thought everything was ... Chickpea Burger Giveaway & Greek Mashed Cauliflower

Can I just start out with the word YUMMOLA?!?! This is exactly how I felt about this entire meal.  Awhile back, I was contacted by MorningStar Farms to see if I'd be interested in trying/reviewing their new Mediterranean Chickpea Burgers. With 70% less fat than regular ground beef and containing less than 2% soy protein, I immediately said YES, PLEASE!  I am a huge fan of hummus and of burgers, so this felt like the perfect combination :)  It took me awhile to find it at the store, but finally my eyes were drawn to this packaging: ... Cutting Back + {Black Bean Quinoa Sliders}

I received such a sweet comment from a new reader recently: "Hello there! I came across Nosh and Nourish through Pinterest (someone pinned your amazing butternut squash mac and cheese, yum!) and now that I've navigated through your website, I wanted to say that you are amazing, inspirational and beautiful on the inside and out! I'm looking forward to keeping up with your adventures. <3" which makes what I'm about to say even harder:  It is time for me to cut back significantly for a season. I love blogging so much!! ...
