Twitter, Tweets, and a Kale Fail #@##@

I'm like a grandma who's never used a cell phone before, when it comes to Twitter.  I'm all thumbs.  I don't get it.  (Insert deeply furrowed brow).  Why is so much punctuation used?? ?!! @@ ## @ ^ &@@ ##  WTH?!?!? But, I know I want to use it for my blog... so, I've taken the plunge.  I've created a handle.  Ha! Just a week ago I didn't even know what that meant.  No, not a love handle (I'm trying to get rid of those!!)... a Twitter handle: @nsSweetlife.  I would love for you to follow me there and get more involved in the conversation.  I just tweeted my first tweet! (I'm not sure that's even how you say that!) I will add a Twitter button to the top of the site this weekend, so it will be even easier to Follow.

I'm a bit bummed today because I'm sick.  How do I know this?

1. I had zero appetite last night, which NEVER, I repeat NEVER happens.  I ate 5 strawberries and that was it.
2. My lymph nodes have tripled in size and are about to pop out of my neck.
3. I woke up basically every hour in the night trying to get comfortable, to no avail, despite the ramp of pillows I was "resting" upon.

I was planning on making the Kale Blueberry Shake after dinner yesterday; but since there was no dinner, there was no post-dinner shake.  I decided to make it this morning, and I can tell you... it officially tasted awful.  Epic Kale Fail!  It wasn't so much the flavor.. more the texture/consistency.  It was like swallowing chunks of seaweed that had been in a hurricane with dirt and berries.  Each sip was harder to swallow than the first, until I finally decided this isn't worth suffering through and just threw the entire batch away. 

Since we're in grandma mode... As my great-grandpa would say to my grandma on occasion, "You don't need to keep that recipe!" :) I guess brutal honesty runs in the family!  So Plan B took effect: I took 3 of the Mole Polenta pieces out of the freezer and heated them up.  They were surprisingly good as leftovers!
